Prayer Companions

Cross

In seek
ing to strengthen and deepen our spiritual life, PRBC uses Prayer Companionship.  As Christians, we meet in small groups to strengthen our faith and develop our relationship with God through the power of prayer in the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Companionship encourages the exploration of God's Word more deeply through prayer, discussion and meditation.

This practice will affect (positively) our faith and how it impacts the world as we explore it and apply God's Word to actual events and circumstances, some of which will present a challenge to the Church. Jesus expects us to be able to interpret the signs of the times (Matthew 16:3) so that we are prepared for His return and also to use our time on earth productively in His service.

Our aim is to seek God’s desire for us and to ensure that we are aligned with God's will and commands.  Prayer Companions seek to develop friendship and trust, to be open and honest with one another while endeavouring to build up our faith and strength in the Lord.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit so that you know beforehand what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at the Church Building (details here) for our Sunday service, which starts at 10:30am. Parking is available at the church. Please head down Bell Street, turning into Bell Lane, and then Bell Close.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access and a sound loop for anyone who needs it.  A disabled toilet is available in the corridor near the wheelchair access.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are available after the service, where you can meet others and chat in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Our Service

The main service begins at 10:30am with a call to worship, prayer and song.  You can expect a warm welcome, great worship, and relevant preaching based on the Word of God beside a friendly group of people ready to learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
